im getting really tired of olbermann. especially his special comments. it was cool when he was saying things that nobody else was saying. now, not so much.
sorry. just how im feeling
Who else in the media is saying these things?
I’m not sure I follow. I have issues with the fact that he editorializes sometimes.
However… “when he was saying things nobody else was saying”… what other anchor is calling Bush what he should be called; “Fascist”? That word perfectly sums up where this country has been headed for the past 70 years (bouncing back and forth here and there). Bush seems to want to accelerate this, and tele-com immunity is a massive deal.
I can understand if you have just grown tired of Olbermann ranting, but I, for one, am glad ANYONE in the major media is saying this sort of stuff. Maybe people will look up the definition of fascism in a dictionary and realize what it means and why it applies…
I can also understand if you think he’s just preaching to the choir, but I (as a member of that choir) love his passion and dedication to the important issues facing our country. But don’t relegate Olbermann to saying what other people are saying.
Not sure if you’ve seen this, but Bill Moyer’s interview of Olbermann changed a lot of my opinions about him…

he may be the only one on television who says what he says, and sure, thats great. i just happen to like olbermann when he does the news in his unique way. the special comments all sound the same to me. calling out bush for hypocrisy, yada yada. Yeah, we know Olby, i’ve heard it before. Isn’t that what you said yesterday? His purpose is better served by covering the stories that other’s aren’t covering, which he does so well. The “special comments” dont further his argument, the facts do.
let me amend that last comment. at some point, the special comments furthered his argument. lately, not so much.
