What the hell happened to Charlie Rose?

I mean, i know he asks tough questions *cough cough*, but there’s no need for violence. This is a screen cap from last night’s show. What’s Charlie been up to?

Update: Rose tripped in a pothole while walking on 59th Street in Manhattan. He was carrying a newly purchased MacBook Air and made a quick (but ultimately flawed) decision while falling: sacrifice the face, protect the computer. (via TechCrunch)

    i have analyzed Charlie Rose’s injuries from several different camera shots. i was attacked in the street in december of 2007 in new york. and i was hit with brass knuckles. Charlie Rose’s injuries are almost exactly consistent with my injuries. The number of street attacks are on the rise in New York. Senator John Kerry’s sister was attacked just last month and had to be taken to the hospital. Please Charlie Rose, for all our sakes in New York, don’t be a tough guy. You always seek the truth in your show. Please, tell the truth about your injury!!!

    Dave, give me a break; maybe he had an eye implant by visiting extraterrestrials, or walked into a door, or slammed his face into a camera for a real good close-up!
