I disagree with almost everything on the page you link to. The last thing we need to do is protect industries where the US is no longer competitive globally. Comparative advantage is the source of much of our prosperity. We need to re-educate workers that lose their jobs to international competition. Retaliatory tariffs are perhaps the worst idea expressed on that page.
Trade is perhaps the greatest engine for change in the world, and it could be doing a lot more for us.
You probably wouldn’t like his positions on trade policy very much.
