Chrono Trigger remake was in the works…

…but alas, Square put a stop to it in 2004… This video was leaked by the director of the project… Fast forward to 5 minutes if you actually want to see stuff you’ll recognize (besides the swinging pendulum…)

    Interesting–any word on why they canceled it?

    Also, you should check out Chrono Cross if you haven’t yet. I think it’s probably a better game than Chrono Trigger.
